Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ Program enables students enrolled in higher education institutions to receive part of their education in higher education institutions abroad, which are partners owing to an interinstitutional agreement. Students who attend the program have the right to receive financial support (grant). The grants do not aim to cover all the costs of the participants but contribute to their expected costs.

In order for students of the Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Science and Letters to participate in the LLP/Erasmus+ Program, which allows for education at universities in European Union countries for one or two semesters, the equivalence of undergraduate courses with the European Union Notation Transfer System (ECTS) was established in 2001.

  2. Table 2 is taken as the reference for the grades of the courses of incoming international students,
  3. For partner universities of  Istanbul Kültür University that do not use the ECTS grading system and do not provide the conversion of the local grading system to the ECTS grading system, a joint decision proposal of the relevant departments and the European and International Relations Center is prepared and submitted to the approval of the Senate in order to be able to establish equivalences on a university basis.
