A conference titled “The School of Athens” was organized by the Faculty of Science and Letters, on Friday, March 17, between 14.00-17.00 at Erdal Inönü Seminar Hall in our Ataköy Campus. In the event where one of our retired lecturers Mehmet Süha Sarıoğlu attended as the speaker, the work of Rafaello, one of the greatest geniuses of the Renaissance, "The School of Athens", in which he included many early philosophers, was interpreted. Our students showed great interest in the conference.

The first Astronomy Education Workshop, supported by the International Astronomical Union Office of Astronomy for Education (IAU OAE), was hosted by Istanbul Kültür University on October 8-9.

As a result of a research carried out within the scope of the joint program signed between the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and TUBITAK, the possibility of using the cationic EQRPR peptide obtained based on the hydrolysis of rice, the bran protein and its mechanisms of action in the fight against cancer and COVID-19 infection were examined.
